Earlier this year, Air Peace signed an agreement with Boeing for the supply of 10 brand new 737 Max 8 aircrafts worth $1. 2 billion. The agreement was suspended due to technical flaws on the model. But according to Boeing, delivery for the upgraded version of the aircraft will commence as soon as possible.
Again this month, Air Peace upgraded its agreement with Brazilian Aircraft manufacturer Embraer for additional E195-E2s aircrafts. Air Peace agreement with Embraer is worth $2.12 billion. Delivery will commence next year.
Currently, Air Peace operates Fourteen (14) B737-300/500, Three (3) B777-200/300, One (1) Do328-300, and Eight (8) Embraer ERJ-145s jets. Totalling its fleet number to 26.
With orders for new aircrafts signed and awaiting delivery, in the next five years, Air Peace fleet number is expected to increase from 26 to 50 or more. At that stage, Air Peace will become one of the largest airlines in Africa, and largest in West Africa.
Baron: The US protects their commerce. I’ve been close to a case involving a billionaire in Nigeria that used to purchase some specialized equipment from a US manufacturer. A Chinese firm approached him and offered 60% less. The man cancelled some future orders and got 6 units at about a million dollars each as against the almost three million per unit from the US firm. The US firm reported him to the federal authorities in Washington and he was given a 10-year ban from the US. He’s still serving the ban…
Air Peace for Life!
The US protects their companies and would do anything to make them thrive! Nigeria is determined to kill all firms if they could; and they offer you zero protection outside the shores of Nigeria!
