I hope you are aware that It has become standard practice for Third world governments, to shut down the internet when they wish to embark on state sponsored murder of her citizens. Especially, when the people seek to resist a repressive measure/ policy.
From December last year till today, Iraq, Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Gabon, Togo – all 3rd world shitholes – have all taken turns in blocking the internet in their various countries, so as to shut off their people from the world, and then proceed on an orgy of violence without it being headline News elsewhere. Remember we have a Senate president who said they’re ready to please Buhari (which means they will do anything to please the Abba kyari led dictatorship). So the chances of this bill becoming a law soon is very high.
