You know when you think about it in all honesty, Buhari is acting exactly how the Sowores and easily 9 in 10 school-educated folks who voted Buhari in 2015 hoped he would act when in power.
Only snag is, they had other victims in mind.
They hoped he’d deny Goodluck Jonathan, Atiku, Diezani, Tompolo, Patience Jonathan…and everyone of us who either supported Jonathan or the PDP in 2015 our rights the way he is now denying them their rights.
They justified their silly chicanery by working themselves into a state of deluded conviction that Nigeria had never had it as bad as it did under Jonathan. They recast Jonathan as an evil dictator who was out to use snipers to kill their impromptu national heroes.
They sold themselves out on the lurid illusion that corruption in Nigeria had hit an all time high and that tying people to stakes and shooting them summarily with or without trial was the only option Jonathan’s government had manoeuvered Nigeria to.
They said we were at the edge of the abyss and that we needed the man they styled “Teflon General” to come clean the Augean stables. They said a lot of PDP politicians needed to be shot.
They said corruption would kill us if we didn’t kill corruption first. Only thing was, their “Corruption” had names, had family members, had rights pertaining to humanity like them.
These people just didn’t give a damn. They said what was needed was a final solution. They actually used that term.
Final solution.
Let’s not lose sight of the facts here please.
One day we will be clearheaded enough to talk about this demographic. These people who hanker after abuse and tyranny as their idea of government.
These ones who plead with dictators to do away with the rule of law on a whim.
Buhari has not in any way disappointed Sowore, ex-buharists, BMC tripe heads, and the buharideen janjaweeds who voted for and supported him in 2015.
We know why these people supported him. We know why they detested “weak” Jonathan.
Yes, it’s daddy issues they have alright, but psychotherapy is expensive in Nigeria. Let’s just pretend and say it’s because they care too much about Nigeria. Let’s just humour them and say we agree that Jonathan was “grossly incompetent” and “corruption was the order of the day” under Jonathan.
The only thing their WAI brigade, koboko-wielding Messiah had done wrong is, he started his “final solution” task from directions not to their liking.
Shi’ites, IPOB, the wannabe Che Guevaras.
This is the Teflon General brooking no nonsense the way they hungered for.
They should be patient.
He will get to their enemies soon. He will get to the “Jonadafts” of their scornful peeve soon.
You want a China, right?
You asked for a benevolent dictator, yes?
I’m sorry. Perhaps someone forgot to tell you that there are more dyslexics in Aso Rock than anyone could ever know. You should read their press releases.
You should hear their claims of economic boom amidst multidimensional poverty.
I think it’s “doom” or “boob” they meant to write.
Last time they said Recession is just a word. I think they read it as “Reception”. Had to be. No government would be so insouciantly callous.
This is why it might not be so unlikely that someone up there could have read your “benevolent” as “bent & violent”.
Please write in block letters and draw cartoons next time you submit your shopping list.

This being said though, I stand with the protest against this moribund government. If indeed there was going to be a protest.
Free Sowore.
