If our number 1 priority is saving lives – and I want to believe it is – then there is only one pertinent question to ask, and that is:
Has Dr Stella Emmanuel SUCCESSFULLY treated over 350 COVID-19 patients, some of whom had underlying ailments, with the hydroxychloroquine, zinc and zithromax combination as she claimed??
This is the crux of the matter. Any other question aside this is what we call ‘ajambene’ in the part of Igbo-land where I come from.
Thankfully, the woman lives in the U.S where records are kept. So it is so easy to verify her claim by checking the medical establishment where she works, the medical history of those patients she claimed to have SUCCESSFULLY treated as well as the drugs she treated them with. This, in my view, is the simplest way of ending this argument for good. Use your record to prove her right or wrong.
In fairness to those condemning her, her approach, language and posturing actually seem a tad unscientific and against every medical processes and procedures for announcing a cure but with the U.S approaching 200,000 deaths plus the fact that this is a novel virus, which means it is new, with experts yet to FULLY understand everything about it, I don’t believe it is wise dismissing a medical doctor who claims to have treated over 350 COVID-19 patients with 100% success without making attempt to verify her claim.
N.B: COVID-19 is very real, people. Please wear your mask and maintain social distancing and high level of personal hygiene in addition to observing all other W.H.O guidelines.
